CORRAL Riding Academy is a nonprofit organization based in Cary, North Carolina, dedicated to empowering adolescent girls facing high-risk situations through a holistic program that combines equine therapy and education. Founded in 2008, CORRAL offers a long-term, faith-motivated approach to help girls overcome adversity and achieve brighter futures. The program includes components such as equine-assisted psychotherapy, academic support, vocational training, and college/career readiness, aiming to equip each girl and her community with the skills and resources needed for success. Through partnerships with local referral community partners, CORRAL identifies at-risk girls and pairs them with rescued horses in their 12-week "Join the Herd" program, which often leads to participation in the Riding Academy for sustained transformation. The organization collaborates with the Triangle Land Conservancy to expand its mission and impact, demonstrating a commitment to community and environmental stewardship.
