Navigating Rights and Resources: A Roadmap to Understanding 504s and the IDEA
This 90-minute training is a basic overview for any advocate who supports youth and families who are or need to access support in the educational system. This training will review the rights afforded to every student under federal law and how this should be implemented by school systems. A more advances training will be offered later in the year to address more complex issues that may arise when advocating in educational settings.
