Trauma-Informed Supervision is a 1 and a half day virtual training intended for current and future supervisors of Family and/or Youth Peers. In this training, attendees will learn about the types of supervision and practical skills to implement Trauma-Informed Supervision to Youth and Family Peers. By the end of the training, attendees should understand the role of Youth Support Partners and Family Peer Specialists, be able to identify best practice guidelines for supporting Youth Support Partners and Family Peer Specialists in the workplace, identify trauma-informed supervision strategies, and share information to prepare your agency to successfully employ and sustain Youth Support Partners and Family Peer Specialists. Participants attending this training must be or planning to supervise Youth and Family Peers. System of Care Training is a prerequisite for this course.
